We service:
Automatic Coffee Machines (office)
Group Espresso Machines (cafe’s)
Domestic Espresso Machines
Do you service domestic group machines too?
Yes. We also service domestic single-group machines for home users who want to keep their espresso machine performing well and producing great coffee.
We are not able to service Breville, Sunbeam or Nespresso. Please contact the store where you purchased your equipment.
Can you repair faults with commercial group machines?
Yes. We can help diagnose and repair faults with commercial group machines, including issues with water flow, steam pressure, leaking, inconsistent coffee extraction, temperature problems and general machine performance.
Why is regular servicing important?
Regular servicing helps reduce breakdowns, improve coffee taste, protect your commercial machine from scale build-up and extend the life of your equipment. It can also help catch small issues before they become expensive problems.
What does a commercial group machine service include?
A service may include checking the machine’s performance, group heads, seals, shower screens, steam wands, pressure, temperature, water flow and general condition. We can also clean key components, replace worn parts where needed and check for signs of scale or wear.
We service all types of group machines such as Nouva Simonelli, Wega, La Marzocco, San Remo, Gaggia and more.
How often should a commercial group machine or office coffee machine be serviced?
Most commercial group machines and office coffee machines should be serviced at least once a year. High-use machines, such as those in cafés or busy workplaces, may need servicing more often to keep them running reliably and producing consistent coffee.
Do you service commercial espresso/group machines?
Yes. Black Stag services commercial espresso machines and group machines for cafés, offices, venues, schools, hospitality businesses and workplaces across Tauranga, Bay of Plenty and Waikato.
What Ongoing Maintenance Is Required for Your Coffee Machine?
To keep your coffee machine running smoothly and hygienically, it requires a daily rinse, weekly clean, and monthly descaling — especially important for fresh milk systems. These steps prevent build-up, protect internal parts, and maintain drink quality. Black Stag offers a valet servicing option, where we handle all cleaning and maintenance for you, ensuring your machine stays in top condition without adding work for your team.
Will I need to sign an agreement or contract?
Typically yes. An agreement for 24 or 36 months will be put in place at the start of your lease or free-on-loan term. This commitment allows Black Stag to secure a modern, state of the art coffee machine for your workplace. Your dedicated Account Manager will visit you regularly to ensure that it is operating smoothly and you’ll receive ongoing servicing. Our commitment to customer service is unparalleled – you won’t be disappointed.
What Types of Coffee Machines Do We Offer?
We specialise in fully automatic bean-to-cup machines that deliver café-style coffee in seconds. Suitable for workplaces, showrooms, schools, and hospitality settings. We offer three main setup types:
- Fresh Bean + Fresh Milk Machines
- Fresh Bean + Granulated or Powdered Milk Machines
- Hybrid Machines (e.g. fresh bean coffee, but with chocolate or chai powder options)
What size coffee machine is right for my business?
To find the best coffee machine for your workplace, we look at the number of staff to find the machines that can produce the volume of cups you need per day. If the machine is too small, staff can end up waiting too long for drinks or emptying the grounds container too frequently. We also take into account who will be using the machine – staff, customers or management? We will then typically provide you with 1-3 recommendations to review.
What happens if my coffee machine breaks down?
Contact us via our handy form or give us a call. A service technician will be in touch on the same day. We pride ourselves in our responsiveness. We know how important coffee is to our customers so we’ll get to you fast and keep your coffee flowing.
Do you clean the machine and deliver consumables for us to use?
Yes! Your site can be added to our fortnightly or monthly schedule for service. This ensures the coffee machine is working perfectly. They can drop off fresh supplies at the same time. We can tailor a service package that suits any size business.
What is the cost of installing a coffee machine at my workplace?
We will do a complimentary site assessment to determine the most suitable machine and provide a quote for the machine plus any installation costs so you know what to expect.
All that is needed is an electricity point where the vending machine can be plugged in. Preferably the machines are plumbed into your water supply as filters can be added and no refilling of bottles is necessary. Water bottles/tanks can be used where a water supply is not possible.
What water is used for the coffee machines?
Coffee machines require filtered water for the best possible taste and longevity of the machine. We can fit a water filter to your existing water supply. For tanked coffee machines, a water filter can be added inside the water tank. We’ll take care of this for you as part of the installation process.
